Good Afternoon, Viper Band and Vision Families!

We are through another week and getting closer to our upcoming percussion and chamber ensemble concerts! Our Hawaii Trip is also just around the corner. We will finalize our Hawaii trip itinerary this week and share the necessary paperwork for student medications and information on how to sign students out at any point on the trip.

Thank you to our students who have set up their mulch profiles and entered all their contacts. We have a goal of over $160,000 in mulch sales or donations, and we’re counting on each of our students to help us reach that target. Keep an eye out for emails from our fundraising chair, Adam Plummer, with more details on current funds raised and upcoming delivery dates.

Please see the Weekly Announcement Sheet for information about rehearsals for the upcoming week. Students who know they are performing at the Texas Medal of the Arts on Wednesday, 2/26, also have rehearsal on Tuesday, 2/25. Please check your itinerary from Mr. Howard for the schedule. Additionally, those students performing at UIL Solo & Ensemble on Saturday, 3/1, received the schedule last week.

Special thanks to our basketball band members and their leader, Jack Cance, for going the extra mile to support our Vipers during their playoff run. They had a great season, and we are so proud of the team and our students who played them on during the games.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend, and we’ll see everyone on Monday.

Mr. Lipman
