Happy Sunday, Viper Band and Vision Families!

What a whirlwind few days it’s been! We are so proud of our band and Vision members for their spectacular performances at UIL State and the Bands of America San Antonio Regional. The performance on Tuesday afternoon was an incredible way to close out the year, and we look forward to presenting those UIL Silver Medals to our students on December 12 at our upcoming medal ceremony. 

We are excited about our upcoming playoff football game vs. Sotomayor High School at the Alamodome on Thursday, November 21. This will be an awesome matchup in a great venue. Students will be released from classes early on Thursday to allow for travel to San Antonio, and we expect a late return that evening, so plan accordingly.

Please see the Weekly Announcement Sheet for upcoming schedules and other important information. We will hold jazz orchestra/ensemble and mock auditions this week for those students attending TMEA auditions soon.  Good luck to those students auditioning for Region Orchestra on Monday evening.

Finally, we are excited to launch a Band & Vision toy drive supporting Dell Children's Medical Center. Please bring in a new unwrapped toy and help us collect 150+ toys for charity.
