Happy New Year, Viper Band and Vision Families!

We are so excited to see our band and Vision members next week on Tuesday, January 7. We will continue to celebrate the extraordinary successes from December, including our percussion section’s incredible performance at the Midwest Clinic, our football team’s first 6A State Championship, and our toy drive bringing in over 600 toys!! We have so much to be grateful for as we start the new year together.

Please see the Weekly Announcement Sheet for information about rehearsals and the new year. We’ll finish setting up our Google Classrooms for the spring during staff development on Monday next week. We will start sectionals on Monday, 1/13, for all bands and will finalize those schedules for posting soon. Please note that the Jazz Orchestra will meet on Tuesday, 1/7, and the Jazz Ensemble will meet on Thursday, 1/9.

Finally, TMEA Area woodwind and brass players will have a mock audition on Wednesday after school next week. We will send out the schedule for the Area Auditions on Saturday, 1/11, at Westlake HS as soon as it is finalized.
