After careful consideration and discussions with campus administration, I have made the decision for the band not to travel to San Angelo on Friday, September 10 for the football game.  Given the current LISD Risk Level and the length of travel, I feel this is a necessary decision for our students and volunteers.  The students have had a fantastic week and I am committed to making decisions that aid in their ability to stay healthy and to keep their season going.  We WILL be traveling to the Stony Point game the following week, which is much shorter travel for our students and volunteers.

Thank you for your understanding regarding this schedule adjustment.  This adjustment has been made in the band calendar and will be included in the Announcement Sheet.

In an effort to perform for you this week, we will be extending Thursday’s rehearsal by 15 minutes to do a run-through for any parents that are able to come and see the students.  We are working on getting the third movement of the show on the field this week and would love an audience at the band field Thursday!  The run through will be at 6:45 PM.
