This year, Vandegrift HS Band & Vision Dance Company will be staffing volunteers to help run the event activities of the UIL Region 32 Marching Contest, this Saturday, October 19. Meanwhile, our Viper Band & Vision Dance Company will be one of the bands to perform at the Contest.

Volunteers are needed for the following positions below. The first shift of volunteers will receive a short briefing at 10am at the stadium, Leander HS Bible Stadium. The second shift will meet the first shift at 2pm to transition the roles. More details will follow to the signed-up volunteers by Friday evening.

  • Band Guides: Help to guide band directors & students to their warm-up areas and then their entrance to the stadium.
  • Bus & Equipment Truck Parking: Monitor all entrances/exits to guide buses/trucks into their parking area.
  • Pit Warm-up Area Guide: Help to guide percussion directors & students to their warm-up areas and then their entrance to the stadium.
