If you are travelling to Hawaii, please take an opportunity to look at the Band Flight Groups and Trip Packet. There will be minor tweaks/details added to the itinerary as we get closer to the trip. The final itinerary will be released and discussed in detail at the Mandatory Trip Meeting on Monday, March 6. You do not need to print and send in the signature page of the trip rules document. This will be taken care of at the Trip Meeting.
Please take note of your flight group number before you look at the itinerary. You will need this information to understand what time you need to be at the airport on Thursday, March 9. Please note that the flight lists have been created by chaperone group (which were created using rooming lists). This allows each chaperone to be with their chaperone group starting with arrival at the airport. Only minor deviations have been made due to parents traveling with their children. As far as the packing and transport of instruments – ALL of this information will be detailed with the students and at the trip meeting.
For the Hawaii trip, students will meet at the airport, not at the school. This is detailed in the itinerary.
Chaperones, I will email you separately concerning details that only apply to chaperones.
The full band staff, lead chaperones and our travel company (TMF) will be at the Trip Meeting to answer all questions you have regarding the trip. As we get closer, an updated itinerary, flight groups, bus lists (for ground transportation in Hawaii), Chaperone Group Lists and Rooming Lists will also be released.
